Q:  I live outside the EU, do I need to pay duty and taxes?

 

A: If your order is shipped to the USA, Canada, Japan and to other destinations outside of the EU, customers may face import and duty taxes. These vary from country to country and LLN has no control over them. In the event that you need to pay import and duty taxes, you will be contacted directly by the shipping service and the order will not be released until you have paid. Please contact your local customs office for further details of charges.

Q:  Which company do you partner with for shipping?

 

A: We use DHL „small parcel“ (up to 2 kg) for all deliveries. This service does not include any insurance/liability nor tracking number. However, in the case you want Track & Trace and insure your parcel, you may have the possibility to do it by paying an extra fee that vary depending on the country to which your parcel will be shipped.

 

Q:  Why don't you accept return of goods?

 

A: LumièresLaNuit is responsible for carefully packaging all records and goods and make sure that none will be subject to any damage while transporting. All records are packed into a card mailer box specially conceived for the shipping of music EPs and LPs. In order to strengthen the protection of the records LumièresLaNuit is responsible for inserting wedges to stabilise the record, therefore no returns will be accepted.

 

Q:  What if my vinyl cover is slightly damaged?

 

A: With regard to our covers and artworks, some local areas are printed using a gloss finish. As a result, it might happen that the edges of the cover are damaged during the drying process. If so, the damages are extremely minimal and remain very rare, therefore no returns will be accepted.

Q:  How to make sure I pick the right size with soft goods?

 

A: For all soft goods, please refer to our size charts before placing any order. Our sizes are based on the common standards and clearly mentioned on the website, therefore no returns will be accepted. 

Q: What currency will I be charged in after placing an order?

 

A: All transfers conducted through LumièresLaNuit are handled and transacted through third party Stripe. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Stripe is an online payment service for easier, faster and safer online payments. Q:  What are the different shipping options, time and prices?

 

A: Once we’ve received your order, we will do our best to send it to you as soon as possible. Please be aware that we only ship twice a week: Monday and Thursday of each week. Any other delay would be related to our supplier DHL. Except destinations from outside of Europe, any order would deliver within 10 days after placing it. We also provide shipping options including liability and tracking. Please see below the different options available with pricing and shipping time according to your country of residence.

During busy sale periods there could be a short delay of 1-2 days in shipping orders.

Q:  Can I provide any delivery address information?

 

A: You can only specify a different delivery address from your billing address, if it is your place of work. Just fill in your office address details at the checkout when prompted. 

Q:  Can I combine orders for the same shipping cost

 

A: You can definetely combine orders and that would not affect the shipping cost as long as all these orders have been placed on the same day with the same shipping address.

Q:  How many articles can I order at once?

 

A: You can purchase any quantity of articles as long as your total order does not exceed 2kg. If you plan to order more than 6 articles please contact us.
